What is a BTU figure?
The primary function of a towel rail is to warm & dry towels however as a secondary function they can also provide a limited source of heat to a room. The heat output of a towel rail is usually referred to as its BTU (British Thermal Units) which is defined as the amount of heat energy required to heat one pound of water by one degree. The overall output of a towel rail will vary depending on its size, style & configuration.

How to maintain the towel rails?
As our rails are Stainless Steel there is no need to use chemical cleaners, to keep the rails looking as good as the day they were fitted we recommend simply cleaning our products with a soft cotton or microfibre cloth and water. To remove small scratches on the Polished finish towel rails and brackets we recommend using a metal polish paste such as Autosol, this will cause no damage to the rail.
